By booking any of our tours you are accepting this agreement, you agree that you have carefully read, fully understand and agree the terms and conditions described in the following clauses.
Cancellation Policy
There is a fee for wire transfer of you cancel for any reason, and any transfer fee will be deducted from the money that you have already sent. Your money will be refunded back to you according to the following criteria.
If you cancel your tour with less than 48 hours our tour driver is already taken the time for you and arrangements are already made on your behalf by our coordinator. You will be refunded one half of your fee. If you choose to reschedule the remaining balance can be applied to a future tour.
Rescheduling Policy
If you would like to reschedule your tour, please let us know at least one day before or as soon as possible so that we can reschedule your tour.
Failure to show up Policy
In case you have already booked any of our tours, but you fail to show up, no refund will be issued
Weather condition Policy
Sometimes Oaxaca is surrounded by several uncontrollable forces of nature. From hurricanes to floods, but this applies only on rainy season. Other natural disaster might occur like earthquakes. We will cancel the tour if any of these criteria affect our activity. In case you need a cancellation due to these circumstances a full refund will be issued.
REGULATION OF PAYMENT AND RESPONSIBILITY OF THE STUDENT
It is the student’s responsibility to prepare all travel permits and have a valid
passport. Once you make your registration request to any of our programs, a
registration payment of USD $100 is required to be confirmed. After making the
registration payment, the student will have up to one year from the date of
application to make it valid in any of our courses, but such registration is non-
transferable. The student may cover the total payment of their program in up to
two installments before their arrival abroad with Orale Overseas S.C.
Payments for your program must be made within the platform on our website as
a bank deposit with the payment form that is generated from our system. Our
system does not automatically detect when the student has made the payment
for their program that is why once the payment is made, it is required to upload
it through our website and send it digitally to our email.

If the student already registered presents some inconveniences that prevent him
from attending the program or continuing with the course already paid for,
he/she must contact the academic coordinator of Órale Overseas through our
email. administracion@oraleoverseas.org
Órale Overseas S.C will agree to the reimbursement under the following criteria:
The student must submit in writing their decision not to continue with the course,
briefly stating the reasons for it.
The amount paid before the first class can be returned: amount paid for the
course minus 20% of the cost of the course for management fees, up to the third
class: amount paid for the course minus 30% of the cost of the course, minus the
cost of classes taught or taken. After the fourth class: no refund applies. In
addition, if the bank charges any commission for the type of payment, the student
must cover such payment.
HOW TO APPLY
Identify the program to which you wish to apply and consult the study plan
(which is available on our website). Once you have identified your program, you
can apply on our page. Once you have filled out your application, our system
will generate two payment receipts; the first tab will correspond to the payment
of the registration to validate your request, and the second payment tab will
correspond to the payment of the program.
Once the registration and program payment has been made, you must notify
Órale Overseas S.C. via email. Notify them that you have already made your
payments and send your proof of payment digitally. Later Orale Overseas S.C.
will notify you that has received the payment and that you are officially
registered in the program to which you applied. With this notification, you will
be able to buy your flights for the dates in which you will study abroad (Please
notify the program about your flights to schedule your arrival and upload it
through our website as well).
INTERNATIONAL MEDICAL INSURANCE
Órale Overseas S.C. does not offer any type of insurance to students of either
travel, illness, accident or belonging lost inside or outside the accommodation or
classroom during your stay.
In case any of our students require any special treatment for any sort of illness, it
should be notified to Órale Overseas S.C. In addition, Órale overseas is not
responsible for any type of situation that might occur.
WHAT DO THE PROGRAMS IN THE PACKAGE INCLUDE?
The Órale Overseas team is trained, friendly and well-informed personnel. They
are available Monday through Saturday, from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. in order to
help and guide you with any doubts or questions that may occur before, during
and after your participation in our program. Our goal is to ensure that you are as
comfortable as possible abroad.
To participate in any of our programs, students must:
– Have a valid passport
– Read, understand and sign the program policy by accepting the privacy
notice as well as the terms and conditions
– VISA (in case it is required)
Spanish Classes
An assessment test will be administered at the beginning and at the end of the
program in order to know your language skills. This test will help us to make
sure we can place you at the right level, reinforce what you already know, and
learn what you have not learned.
A syllabus and teaching materials will be integrated in each Spanish program for the classes.
Excursions
The excursions are crucial for the students’ Spanish language immersion, and
these are all included in the programs, which are distributed to the program’s
weeks that they have chosen (All the entrance and transportation fees are
included, except for the meals).
Cultural activities
For Órale Overseas S.C., the cultural activities are considered a class since,
through teaching our culture; students could identify themselves with the
language and our customs. All the programs in the package include up to two
cultural activities distributed to the days of the week. (Cooking, dancing,
Alebrijes workshops, knitting, embroidery, palm fronds figures, among others)
Accommodation
Each of our programs includes accommodation with a local host family. This
might be the most enriching and lasting benefit of studying in a foreign country.
The student must be careful and respectful with the host family, the teachers, the
house and school. In case of any damage to property, either intentionally or due
to negligence, the student must pay for all damages caused.
The meals
Three meals a day will be provided. We can accommodate special dietary or
vegetarian requests if students require a special diet so. They must notify prior
to their arrival to Órale Overseas S.C.
Transport
The land transport will be included from the airport to the city of the chosen
program (round trip) in the established travel dates. That is why, students must
inform to Órale Overseas S.C. arrival date, arrival airline, time and flight number
via email at least one week before your arrival.
If other students arrive at the same time, our driver reserves the right to make
different moves. The internal transport, if needed, it will be covered by students.
Certificate
Students will receive a participation certificate in the Órale Overseas S.C.
program at the end of the course.
BEHAVIOUR AND RULES
Students are responsible for their well-being while they are abroad. They
understand that neither Órale Overseas S.C., nor its employees, or any of its
agents are guards or insurer of their safety.
The student agrees to comply and respect the rules, regulations and instructions
that the program will establish, and respect other students.
Students must be sensitive, respectful with the host culture and behave
appropriately.
Students must not put themselves in any injurious situation for their health,
safety; or jeopardize other students in the program.
For their own security, it is recommended for the students to avoid walking late
at night.
No alcohol, smoking or other drugs are allowed in the rooms, school or any other
transport used during the excursions or the program activities.
If students consume alcohol in any other place, it will be at their own risk and the
program will not accept responsibility in no case or any situation that might
occur such as medical or accidents, either legal or any other one.
Students must comply with the laws of the country where they will be studying.
If student violate any of the host country laws and they put themselves in legal
risk, Órale Overseas S.C. is not responsible. However, the program will do its
utmost to help the students.
The competent authorities will handle violations of local laws in the host country.
Personal possessions
Órale Overseas S.C. is not responsible for lost, stolen or damaged personal
property while students are in the program.
Photographic and video material
Students accept the use of photographs or videos in which they appear. These
materials will be used for publicity purposes only and distribution of information
about Órale Overseas S.C.
Independent Travel
Students understand that if a student has a day off during the weekdays, a
weekend or a holiday, whenever an excursion is not planned, the student is free
to travel alone or with friends. Nevertheless, students understand that Órale
Overseas S.C. cannot be responsible for their health and security during those
moments. The Órale Overseas S.C. staff will be available to help in any possible
way if something goes wrong. However, it is the students’ responsibility to
inform the Resident Manager about their independent travel plans, every time
they decide to abandon the program and/or travel on their own.
Internal Transport
If students are of legal age to drive and decide to do so, Órale Overseas S.C. does
not assume any legal or financial liability if students are involved in an
infringement or an accident. Students will assume explicitly and specifically the
risk of injury, illness, death, monetary loss, or damage to property because of
such circumstances during their participation in the program. Whether they have
suffered them personally, any of their dependents or companions.
Risks
Even though Órale Overseas S.C. makes the reasonable effort to guarantee the
student’s safety while participating in any of its programs, there are some
inevitable risks on foreign travel and students might be exposed to danger by
which neither Órale Overseas S.C., its employees nor the institution’s scholars
have the control. These dangers could be limitless such as aircraft accidents,
negligence on the part of others, terrorism, natural disasters, exposure through
food contaminated, general health problems and/or general accidents.
Students must understand that if a student becomes seriously ill or injured, it
might be possible that they do not receive the same level of treatment in a foreign
country as in their home country. With full knowledge of the risks and dangers,
students release any legal action on either Órale Overseas S.C.
Academics
Students must attend classes on a daily basis, and it is expected that they meet the
host academic institution’s requirements.
Medical insurance
Students must inform the program about any kind of any disease or limitation
they might have such as chronic or recurrent problems, pregnancy, mental
illnesses, heart conditions, back problems, diabetes and allergies, etc.
The student grants Órale Overseas S.C. full authority to take actions that it
considers justified regarding her/his health and safety, and releasing any
responsibility for those actions on them.
In general
If the student is suspected of violating any of the above terms, the site staff will
discuss the matter with them and a formal incident report will be written to
document the suspected violation. Moreover, this may result in expulsion and
immediate dismissal of the student from the Overseas S.C. program. If the
student is expelled from the Program, any expenses incurred upon his/her
return will be the responsibility of the student and he/she acknowledges that
there will be no refund of the costs of the program.
In the event that Orale Overseas S.C. incurs special expenses on behalf of a
student while abroad, the student is obligated to make an immediate
reimbursement to the program.
Finally, students aware of what is established in the privacy policies and the
terms and conditions of this document. It is assumed that by signing it, you
understand and accept everything stated in this document, respecting the laws,
rules of the country where the program is hosted and not from the student’s
country of origin.
The student acknowledges that the consent form must be completed, signed, and
